"we have film at our disposal"

    Which backs up their evaluation.

"he was also more elusive than Rocky"

The crude Firpo put Dempsey down more often in one round than Marciano was down in his entire career. There seems to be a big to do about Marciano as a defensive fighter. The bottom line is Marciano had defensive skills and displays them on film, but he was a take it to the other guy type, like Dempsey, and so got hit more than dance away types do.

The bottom line is Marciano never fought any heavy duty bangers.

Y do u insist that being stopped on ur feet is a detriment to one’s punching power? Should we discount Foreman’s stoppages over Frazier? Or maybe because he had to knock down Lyle thirty times instead of one shooting them he is not as strong as advertised? I’m not getting ur point there. Being stopped on ur feet is as good as being out cold. It’s a stoppage victory. Is it better to get a tko victory over Bert or never to get one? Moore was a banger period. He was just a surgeon as opposed to a wrecking ball.

Look what he does to the 6”1 210 pound Up and comer Davidson. Rag dolls him.
I do not think Archie hit as hard as say Liston or Foreman but he could bang at hw.

If he had fought a whole myriad of them, but never fought a clever boxer, then you woudl say that he never fought a cleaver boxer.

Williams, Valdez, and Dejohn were all extremely hard punchers.

All mediocre. Walcott, Charles, Moore all knocked out better competion and they’re considered feather fisted in here. I’d put them in the Layne category of power. They could hit but none were exceptional at delivering it. There are zero monsters in that group. No Foreman no Baer no Tyson no Louis no Lewis or Wlad. If Moore and Walcott weren’t considered bangers when they met then those men were never bangers.

What monster punchers has Liston faced? That bum Williams is the hardest hitter he faced and that’s not saying much. What monster did he face?

I would give you a shovel but you're digging your hole plenty deep with your words.

Foreman seemed to think an ancient version of Big Cat with a bullet inside him could hit pretty hard, comparing his power to Cooney.

Foley and Valdes and DeJohn weren't slouches in the power department either.

    But you do you, boo.

I knocked out more contender then Foley a washed up Nino and even mentioning Dejohn is a joke. Point being u clowns can’t even hold other fighters to Marciano standards. None of those men came close to having the careers and quality KOs that Walcott, Charles, Moore or Louis had (u mention washed up nino I’ll mention washed up Louis). U do u boo
