Knockouts are exciting, but it's only (usually) the last 5% of a fight. There's still the preceding 95% of the fight to consider.

95% of a fight that Wlad is in is boring, with the last 5% being more exciting.

Personally I'd rather see two athletes fight at a high level for a full 12 and go to the cards than watch one guy clinch/hold/spoil and dominate a fight for 8 rounds before finally dropping in a right hand that ends the fight.

That fight wasn't that exciting, you're just a fanboy with rose tinted glasses. and that fight was only decent because Maidana was taking the fight to Floyd, gay weather had nothing to do with that fight being exciting. Wlad only has a few bad fights, and in most cases his opponent was just as guilty as he was for making the fight stink. Other than Gaye, Ibragimov, and Povetkin - Wlad hasn't had any bad fights, most of FFloyd's fights are complete snoozefests. Wlad usually dominates and eventually KO's his opponent, Gay weather dances around the ring for 12 rounds and his lame fanboys proclaim it as masterclass LOL.

It's why many people including the threadstarter "MVC!" continually discredit, ridicule and disparage him.

 

Some are sure. Others aren't. But even the ones that are 'boring' he still executing at a higher level against generally better opposition.

When he was in the lower weight classes he was a more offensive minded fighter with great movement and some stinging combinations.
