It is..why is he a draw if he's boring and his fights aren't blowout?

Oscar, zudah, Castillo, maidana, none of them were shutouts by Floyd.

    Manny and jaun were though

Not boring at all. Boxing at its finest. Inside outside it doesn't matter. Excellence at everything he does. Block, parry, catch, slip, bob/weaver, roll, counter, upper cut, hook, right hand and the best jab in boxing. Hit & not get hit. Need I say more.

theres a large segment of the population that doesnt care whether he is boring or exciting, they identify with him and get excited about all the money he makes. they just want to jump on the shiniest wagon, and floyd is all about shiny wagons.

Not only is he the shiniest wagon, he is also the top of the line wagon. He has all the bells and whistles and has never broken down. He always wins the race. He is a cut above and when you see him at work, there is no doubt that you are bearing witness to greatness. Live with it!!!

He's a bonefide ATG. However since his legs were shot I haven't bothered to watch him fight live, apart from the PAC fight.

He's a draw because he was the last of the great fighters from the past era and he's undefeated. Simple as that. I know so many people that miss the big saturday fight nights when barrera/morales, trinidad, Oscar, Jones etc were fighting. It was like Christmas when these guys fought and everyone would pile into the bar and always was a great time and so many people eyes locked on the TV watching these guys. People miss that and Floyd has been the only one for a while that can offer a tiny degree of that excitement, but his fights never live up to those expectations, but people are just so starved from getting tastes of those past fighters and the big fight nights.
And people hate Floyd, they want to see him lose and some are willing to fork out 70 bucks for that off chance someone shuts him up. But its the above paragraph is why floyd is a draw. Nobody paid attention to him back when all those true warriors were fighting.

They have become boring because when you expect to see what you are seeing over and over again, as expected, it becomes boring.. He is slowing down, his last two fights are only to get to 50-0 ... I think his stiffest challenge to that would be Tim Bradley.. Tim could play chess with him.. and has great heart and determination.. He can change the fight into a brawl one round then out box Floyd the next round, he can play cat and mouse, frustrating Mayweather.. And, Tim can hit hard enough to knock him down if he catches him just right... sit on his punches..

When was the last time you paid for a movie that you hated? Did you buy a car you hated? Did you buy shoes you hated? The whole hated thing is as stupid as an argument gets. You guys act like Maidana, Ortiz, Guerrero had such a huge following. So manny illogical people on this forum.

The fact is, Floyd is the greatest of this generation by far. People like to see dynasties.

Most of his fights are quite boring though. Most people buy his fights because of all the drama that he creates. He will be gone soon though. Thank ****
