There have been a lot of posters or there were saying it and I have posted links to people like Barcham and a few others showing that Froch wanted it and went to HBO in the past. I just want it out there. I am a GGG fan but sometimes the other fans kill me with what they spew. I don't want GGG moving up to SMW til he's ready to move up if he wants. If he stayed at 160 and just unified and reigned I would be good with that too. But the BS that SMWs are ducking him is ridiculous and just needs to be squashed. Especially Froch who has fought everyone!

I wouldn't want GGG to move down at all there's no need to feast on smaller guys unless they earn credibility by coming up and proving they can compete at MW. Lara isn't some sensational monster like PAC moving up through the ranks taking on all comers.

cotto wants to hold the belt to see if he can get canelo or floyd in the near future.....if cotto were to take a tuneup this summer and then fight floyd or canelo with the mw belt id be fine with it...if he went longer and didnt fight floyd/pac/canelo then id say he has to vacate.....ggg beating cotto proves jack**** and is just an easyway of ggg trying to get in the ppv ring and take an easy payday....its not going up in challenge...its going backwards for ggg....the guy doesnt need to go backwards....hes 33 and has a **** resume and no career defning fights/wins.....

Im not seeing this line of thinking. The welterweight that you are talking about is the lineal champ now, and GGG wants that title, as he should. Hes entitled to it. The welter should vacate the f*cking belt if GGG is too life threatening.

I dont agree with the resume thing. The guys ggg has been beating are top 10 MWs. Not his fault the MWs are ****ty.

So canelo is an ok fight for cotto but ggg isnt? And solely because hed get more $$ against canelo?
