Here is a thought, and i would like to see what you guys think.
If Mayweather and Pacquiao can not get a fight done for a third (or fourth time). I think Saul Alvarez will be next on the list. Do you guys think Floyd and Mannys camp would compete over a chance to fight him? Alvarez is golden boy so floyd would win but do you think Arum would make the attempt?

From what I seen GBP need to match up Alvarez with Floyd asap, he will get exposed as soon as he face a legitimate opponent at 154

Not sure if Saul can comfortably go back down again @ 147.

I think both would try him at or around 154. Floyd would fight him at full 154 cause he has fought heavyer fighters before. Pac would get the catchwieght.

Pac destroyed Margocheato who is bigger than ANYONE Floyd has fought. Alvarez is clearly now a hype, so I don't think either are risking much at fighting him at 154.

Wouldn't be wise business wise to sacrifice GBP's leading cash cow at such an early and inexperienced stage in his career.

He isn't nearly at May or Pac level yet and won't be for a couple of years.

Neither was Ortiz and we see how they threw him to the wolves, He will never reach those level's unless Oscar comes out of retirement and sacrifice himself, might as well cash out on a Floyd fight asap

Ortiz was never a cash cow, though. Alvarez clearly is already and you are really underestimating that.

I 100% agree, you know that Canelo is potentially the next ODLH when it comes to earning potential. The guy is only 21, why on earth would they risk huge future paydays to cash out and possibly ruin him for a quick, early payday. Saul will definitely NOT fight floyd or pac any time soon.

Never was but was clearly "identified" as the next Golden Boy before the Maidana fiasco.

I would like to see Saul headline some PPV before you call him a cash cow, I wouldn't feel confident in saying he was anymore popular than Ortiz
