Too many old birds post here these days. Where's the young crowd? Anyone under 30 here besides me? Where is the future of this forum?
The alluring thing about the "what if" proposal is the potential upside. The thing not often mentioned is the potential downside, the revealing of weaknesses and flaws. Plenty of guys have seemed unbeatable at 21 only to be exposed or hit the wall shortly thereafter.
I have no wish to beat you up McVey, none at all. You say I am being pariotic but that is a cop out. Klompton is a grubby little scumbag. He is not a may have been, he had already compiled a brilliant career and at an age no one else could have done, so what's so bad about his career I may ask ?
Oh Only, Jeff Smith, George Chip, Eddie McGoorty and Jimmy Clabby and Hardwicke the heavyweight champ of Australia the same title that Sam MvVey and Sam Langford had held not long before but since you have never heard of any of them you are forgiven
I find it very funny that so few Americans like Darcy, thankfully I know some that really admire him, McVey and Klompton seem to dislike him for some reason.
Maybe they just don't think Darcy was the best thing since sliced bread? Smith, Chip, McGoorty and Clabby had over 150 career losses between them, so clearly Darcy wasn't the only one getting to them...
It's because very few Americans actually saw him fight for fukks sake he was 19 when he beat most of the best fighters in the division, this shyte is beginning to annoy me.... if he was actually in his prime which I doubt any 19-20 year old has yet to reach then maybe I'd take notice but from here I just see American patriotism and a superiority complex, those that saw him fight said he was far more than sliced bread, I am going with those who were around to see him and the rest of his critics from now can go gets themselves fooked.
Well with all the bias the young have these days thinking their era is the best instead of being a really ****py era the future of the old timers looks bleak (I mean the fighters no McVey
