God bless Deontay and good luck to him when he finally does step up, but he doesn't deserve the name "Bronze Bomber," which conjures images of the great Joe Louis, for fighting one-eyed hells Angles and moonlighting cab drivers for three years, and almost getting beat by Harold Scoiners.

Lets watch the the real Bronze Bomber, Vyacheslav Glazkov, get a TKO victory over tough upset artist Gbenga Oloukun.

To me, bronze medalist Glazkov is the the prospect with the best all around package of skills. If he can get the fights to develop (he had 6 cancelled last year) he is going to be something. Hopefully, the fight they wanted with Sam Peter last year materializes.

Oulukun is of course the tough journeyman with wins over Lamon Brewster and the now surging Konstanin Airsch

Besides Oloukun, Glazkov also has a quality win over Denis Bakhtov.

Glaskov is a GREAT prospect, no doubt.

    - but Deontay got his nickname by winning a bronze medal in the olympics. (after only about a year of fighting as an amateur!)

Kind of hard to say he doesn't deserve the moniker.

The only reason Glazkov ended up with Bronze is because he got injured and couldn't continue on to the SF where he would have fought Zhang who he beat comfortably at the World Championships the year before.
