This is much closer to reality. In the amateurs before Joshua became a big deal he was consistently listed as being 6'5.5". Fury was consistently listed at 6'7" as an amateur and was around the same height as Carmelo Anthony, who is 6'6.5". I met Wilder at the Sports Arena many years back for the Kelvin Price fight and was with my roommate Sjoerd Hoogendoorn, who was 6'6" and was basically the same height as Wilder, but Hoogen was wearing flip flops while Wilder had on sneakers.

Even Espinoza admitted that Wilder is 6'6" and Fury is 6'7".

"Wilder vs. Fury is a really intriguing fight both because of the styles in the ring and the personalities outside the ring," Espinoza said. "Deontay and Tyson are two of the most likable and most entertaining characters in boxing. . But all the entertainment aside, it is a high-level heavyweight fight between two of the top guys in the division and two huge athletes at 6-6 and 6-7, the two tallest and biggest guys in the sport today."

This. When I used to play basketball and even used to scout players for my coach once I stopped playing and I was always shocked with how much coach's would exaggerate the height of certain players. One inch is forgivable, but two to three inches and even five inches is ridiculous. I can't remember his name, but I was supposed to be scouting a guy that was 7'0", but when I measured him he was 6'5".

I think fury is legit 6'9, I've stood next to him and he absolutely dwarfed me. I'm 6'3 and I was basically child sized next to him. Plus consider his reach, it's bigger than any one else's (anyone relevant) and his arms don't look particularly out of proportion, in other words his hands aren't dangling next to his knees.

The celebheights listings are pretty accurate. What’s wild to me is people still think official heights are accurate. Almost everyone is overlisted.

AJ and Wlad are both somewhere between 6’5” and 6’6”, listed 6’6”, and over the years you have people saying they must be taller than listed merely because they are actually CLOSE to their listed heights.

In the heavyweight division you also have Ortiz/Parker/Whyte all listed 6’4”. At absolute best Parker is barely 6’3” and the other two are shorter.

    No,
    Celeb heights seems very accurate. Joshua close to 6' 6", Gypsey King a bit over 6' 7", & Wilder 6' 6" & a fraction.

Wilder was 219 for his lightest recent fight.
No he could not make CW easily-he is usually well into the 220's, at 219 he has minimal body fat.
He could dehydrate to CW if he kept his weight this low again, but not so easily.

This. Parker is pretty much the same height as Izu, who is 6'3", but for whatever reason is listed as being 6'5" on boxrec.

"The 6-foot-7, 263-pound Breazeale, who rallied back after being in some early trouble, dropped the 6-3, 230-pound Ugonoh twice in the fifth round."

Also, Joshua is 6'5.5" while Wlad is 6'4.5". Joshua and Wlad outside of the ring looked the same height, but Wlad was always wearing lifts. Inside the ring when both are wearing boxing shoes the solid inch of height Joshua has over Wlad is noticeable.

I don’t personally agree on Wlad. Yes he did chronically wear lifts (an interesting insight into his psychology) but he still looked tall in the ring. There’s little evidence to prove that he’s much shorter than AJ.

I still think he was over 6’5”, but being over 6’5” made him ‘6’7”’ in the eyes of boxing fans who believed the listed heights of his opponents

195cm is basically 6’5”. I see Wlad as more 196-197cm, but it wouldn’t shock me if he was actually measured 195

Slightly off topic, but have a look at this photo of Tony Tucker with a 5’8” guy

    https://www.celebheights.com/s/Tony-Tucker-5234.html

He doesn’t even look 6’2”, but Rob generously conceded that he was about 6’3”

Tucker was taller than Buster Douglas and close in height to Lennox Lewis. And he’s maybe 6’3”
