To start with I had problems with Casamayor being considered generally accepted LW champ. I mean, how did that occur anyway? Because Oscar De La Hoya said so via his new toy, Ring Magazine?

Seems to me, it should be pretty clear what oughta' to happen next and please correct me if I'm mistaken, but :

    1) Manny picked up 1 of 4 major belts from his win over David Diaz. So David Diaz is outta' the hunt.

    2) Nate Campbell won the other 3 of 4 major belts fair n' square from Juan Diaz and Joan Guzman lost his chance at em' through being stupid. So, for the moment, Juan Diaz and Joan Guzman are outta' the hunt.

    3) JMM KOs Casamayor who had been arbitrarily declared champ by ODLH so (hopefully) JMM inherits the ODLH (oops I meant Ring Magazine) belt? So, Joel Casamayor oughta' be outta' the hunt.

So. Manny should fight Nate and Juan Manuel Marquez fights the winner and then the winner of that fight has it all; the 4 sanctioning bodies' belts + the Oscar de La Hoya Championship belt (damn, I keep doin' that). So that guy would be undisputed king of the lightweights, yes?

Oops, mixed up Oscar Larios and David Diaz so I corrected it. The reasoning still tracks though doesn't it?
