nonito donaire ... could have fought mares and with a style like his i think would have caught mares with the same left hook and finished him. instead bob arum gets him to face rigo and he looses and looks bad in doing so.

bob arum hate train, all aboard!

Except Donaire is Shorter, meaning he might not be able to catch Mares as good as Jhonny did. However, Donaire still had a very good chance to score a KO since he always came looking for the KO.

When someone is Undefeated its just hard to imagine this...it even affected Arum

yes because he could have taken abner mares and after how many times he had been stunned or wobbled you would think a smarter fighter whos money shot is the left hook would have done a very similiar job to mares as gonzalas did tonight

instead he fought and looked bad against rigo, taking a loss

Mares the low blower got a dose receiving one on the chin courtesy of a Jhonny Gonzales left hook.
Gonzales is a clean boxer, good to see Mares in lala land.

so you're saying donaire claimed to be a top p4p, yet he gets schooled by rigo and we should feel sorry for him? I could see that this was one Arum's worst promo decisions as Nonito was marketable and Rigo is not, but the better man won, exposing plenty of *****s in Donaire's armour.

Its a good thing, cause we got to know how good Rigo is, now make Jhonny Gonzalez vs Rigo for the WBC 126

no i dont feel sorry for donaire in the slightest, regardless of who promotes you. ITS YOUR CHOICE WHO YOU FIGHT, any fighter (especially any under bob arum) should be aware how bad he can ruin your career and legacy

donaire should have spoken up and taken on mares instead of rigo ... donaire avoided rigo like the plague attacking him on fb and in interviews saying his boring and never worth fighting
