The real problem with most fighters

    like Leonard fighting Norris, Ali fighting Holmes, Arguello going up to 140....

    What I'm saying is that yeah, some guys could do better. But everyone has their limits. Age, weight, and ringwear will take their toll.

    I think it's about fighters never living up their potential. For exmaple Edison Miranda has the potential to be a great fighter, but he has limited boxing ability. Some fighters like Juan Diaz looks nothing more then a guy who just throws punches, and fights flat footed. And Paul Williams, you expect him to be a better boxer since he's fighting guys smaller than him, but he's struggling with fighters that are not even skilled. I've noticed a lot of these elite fighters today have serious flaws in their basic boxing fundamentals and it can be easily exploited, it's just that there opponents also have serious flaws in there game too. I have no problem with fighters today, but some of these A level fighters could be fighting WAY better then they are now.
