The REAL question about Ward vs Bute is....

    Would the fight even get made?

    Would Bute go to oakland, would Ward go to montreal?

    Would they agree on money etc or would the lure of easier fights be too much?

    Bute is a duck and both are afraid to leave home. Froch would be easier to make should he win. But even then chances are slim.

    Bute's management's plan is basically this;

    Don't fight anyone until they hype up a fight with an elite. Offer that elite enough money to get him to come to Canada.
    If the fight goes the distance, they can apply home cooked scoring.
    If Bute gets KO'ed, he'd have made a lot more money then he would have if he fought top contenders early and exposed the fact that he is a bum.
    basically, the same plan they had for Pascal.
