Well that actually forms part of my pre-course work for my psychology degree, so I just killed two birds with one stone

All boxers are pretty much dawgs performing treats. Actually I prefer Hopkins comment that boxers are ho's and promoters are pimps.

I can see similarities to when Tyson came back from jail - he became paranoid that everybody was out to get him so he just lashed out. I think now that Tyson has found peace, he should have a chat with Mayweather. Definitely does not want to slide down that slippery slope.

Unfortunately it seems that you cannot have a serious discussion about mental health on the forum without everyone wanting to turn it into some kind of joke. Sad state of affairs if you ask me.

a writer for the ring once told me something similar. That Floyd has a nervous energy and hes both a really nice guy but gets all amped up and gets a bit nuts.

He told me that once, he and Floyd were talking at a fight (they know each other pretty well) and they disagreed about something- Floyd got angry, yelled at him and ran off. Then later, Floyd sought him out, hugged him and apologized and they hung out.

i have a dissenting opinion on your psychological analysis of floyd's personality. my view is that he was a gorilla first, and the dog personality is what's taking over now.

the basic proof is in what he said: "i am a gorilla, i am a dog". He said gorilla first. but that's just the basic and there's more.

first, you need to consider when this split in personality exactly took place. i think it happened when he got the hug from his father that he sorely lacked when he was still a kid. when he reconciled with his dad, he became a dog -- obedient to his dad's wishes. his dad says that fighting manny would kill him, and a dog will always obey his master's wishes. a gorilla on the other hand has no master.

before he reconciled with his dad, he was a monster in the ring, just like a gorilla will fight anyone especially when threatened. a dog runs when hurt and threatened, which is floyd now.

Bravo! Great work shaunster, but Bandido does have a point about Floyd Sr re-entering Floyd's life and acting more like the obedient dawg. If not for Floyd Sr's caution maybe we might have had the megafight by now.

He did that once to me too!

We had a disagreement, argued, then he took his bag, sling it over his shoulder, turned around, and walked away sobbing.

The he came back and brought Ellerbe with him. Then I argued with Ellerbe and Ellerbe did the same thing Mayweather did!:lol:

Edit : I missed out the part where he wants to hug me too!

Floyd is mentally a child...a spoiled child. That's the problem.

    lol

I posted this last year. This is how Floyd and his fans are in real life scenario. *****s cleaning up on Floyd's ****, justifying the bull**** Floyd has been spreading all over the place and at the very end of the GIF, Floyd throws **** at his fans but his fans don't even complain. After throwing **** at his fans, Floyd goes to hiding.
