    Hush your gums.

I wasnt attacking Dawson, I just feel its early to be hyping him up when it might just end in disappointment.

I understand your a fan of him, but why cant you just say "Yes he's a talented fighter and he's got potential, lets see how his next couple of fights go like"

Instead you compare him to the likes of the best fighters of the generation in Calzaghe, when as of yet he shouldnt even be mentioned in the same sentence.

Does anyone want to see a Kessler RJJ fight? I sure as hell don't, and I think I'm not alone when I say I'd much rather see him fight Miranda. Nobody gives a damn about him having that title and I actually think a fight against RJJ would hurt his career. It'd first hurt him in the eyes of boxing fans because he's taking the obviously weaker and less exciting fight for money alone, and I think the few casual fans of the sport left in America that would be brought in by a past it RJJ will not want to a root for a Danish, typical European style boxer, especially after he beats one of the fews guys in boxing they know and love.

If that's true . . . it only makes sense.

I've been saying this all along . . . what has Kesller had to earn fighting Miranda at this point? That fight could be exciting and full of action but other than that it's worthless.

I said stylistically he would match up well with Calzaghe at this point in his career... Is it really that far fetched.

Fair enough though if you weren't trying to attack him. It just came off that way, especially with the Johnson comments. Pretty big call to make there mate.

    1 month avatar bet???

Lets see you put your money where your mouth is:good

I was thinking the same - but acc. to his manager they never accepted the Miranda fight, which I would prefer to RJJ too.

Don't accept all the BS coming from Miranda or his handlers, they are P4P best at this. Not saying Teampalle is much better, though...

If this isn't an attack then i don't know what is...

C level competition... Adamek is a C level fighter at light heavy. Please explain. How about Harding. C level also i guess. Bearing in mind the condition of the current division also please.

Dawson isn't ready for the "big boys" of light heavy apparently... Like who???

    Woods

    Erdei

    Hopkins

    Tarver

Your trying to tell me he couldn't hang with these guys. Thats hatred right there.

Come back when you can post something at least halfway objective.

Light middleweight Lee put Dawson down ... if Kessler connects with an uppercut like the ones he caught Calzaghe with in round 4 Dawson is going down...

Dawson and Diaconu are both decent fighters - my point was just that LHW is hardly the "future" division - as most of its' stars should have retired awhile ago...

As for SMW - Bute, Mundine, Miranda, Andrade and Froch and proberbly soon Taylor and Pavlik - looking much more interesting...

Adamek is Dawsons one good win - Harding and Mendoza are decent - "B-level" - the rest is journeymen or worse. He has been down in what 3-4 fights out of 25 ... and once against a lightmiddleweight with little power... anybody with a good punch stands a good chance against Dawson. He is talented yes - but a chin like that in LHW - he isn't staying champion for long (well with the quality of his current opponents he just might - after all the only "champion" fighting worse opponents is Mundine...)

Kessler's promoter Mogens Palle has announced, that he personally pulled the plug on the match-up. Palle states that the contract received from Team Pantera was not as agreed, and then he (Palle) would rather cancel the bout and work harder to get a title shot for Kessler. He does state, that he is sorry to dissapoint Showtime, who had already scheduled the match.
