-Well a classic case of the kettle calling the pot black (I don't know which camp is the kettle, and which is the pot....:D )

Contractual problems can always be sorted out if both parties want to get it on. Looks to me like Kesler's promoter is looking for an excuse to get out of the deal.

    Dibella quote:
"I made an unbelievable deal for the Kessler side but they are too stupid to see it."

If Kessler was supposed to get 400,000 Euros I wouldn't exactly call it unbelievable.:huh

Do you think its Dawsons fault that his mandatory fell out? Johnson - Diaconu seems a start of a nice series. (if Diaconu passes Henry which I am absolutely not sure of)

BTW I agree with those who say 168 has much more pop than 175. LHW is full of past their prime 90's stars who live from their accomplishments made 5+ years ago, and go after big PPV venues, but cant reach the standard people want to see.

As for Kessler it wasnt a nice move to cancel this bout with fixed (already postponed) TV date. He is not listed in WBA top15 (although its only technical problem) so there is still some time to fight against Miranda. Why dont he fight at 175 against Miranda? Pantera camp looked pretty understanding in accepting Kesslers terms.
Kessler is waiting for the big fish, and he will end up on the ground between to chairs.Team Kessler decided to fight Garay instead of Miranda lookig for a possible matchup with RJJ? :yep Roy is not intrested in title fights. He is after money. I think Miranda fight would raise his stocks more than Garay. Garay is a decent fighter but he hasnt got such big resume or marketing value as Miranda.Whats next? Fighting against Garay on TYC or DK4? Come on...I dont think HBO and Showtime will "fight" for Kessler after he let both of those down. He should fight on US TV thats the key of the success.

    400,000 Euro = 629,719.92 dollars.

I would say that is excellent for a guy who got beat the first time he stepped up in competition and who was facing a guy who many consider to be a crude slugger.

this is a stupid move by Kessler's team. Titles are of 2nd importance in a boxing industry that is now run by the networks.

A boxing date on Showtime against a known opponent is worth much more than a title shot these days

    Kessler should ditch Palle

Hmm... a strange move indeed, it must be a business-move.

Kessler wrote this on his own website mikkelkessler.com 18/3, only a 8 days ago:

If everything goes according to the plan, my next opponent is going to be Edison Miranda 30 (KO 26) + lost 2 (KO 1). The exact date and place is still to be announced.

I have seen a few of his fights and besides being a good boxer he has got a great fighter mentality. After my opinion he has only lost one fight as he was robbed against Arthur Abraham in Germany.
I'm really looking forward to fight again even though it's a short notice.

My plan is to set up a camp in USA to get some new inputs and to acclimatise, but for now nothing is sure.
I'm really looking forward to box in the states again and even though it's far from little Denmark, I know that I will feel great.

I wonder was has happened since then ???

To me it sounds crazy, I'm afraid Palle is no good for Kessler, unfurtunally Kessler trust Palle 100%.

Well in all fairness Palle done pretty well so far. He got Kessler the titleshot at home - a good payday down under - a unification fight at home and to top it of a chance to unify the whole division and at the same time make great bit of money - so far Palle has been a good manager for Kessler.

All though I agree this move looks pretty stupid - especially the stepping on Showtimes toes looks stupid. I hope for Palle's sake that Kessler will get a good opponent instead of Miranda.

You do know that Kessler would be fighting back, right?
Check out what happened when Adamek started fighting back and imagine that pressure on Chad for 12 rounds (if needed)
And the day I see Kessler just standing there, like Mendoza, covering up, I quit boxing altogether.
Kessler would move away, forcing Dawson to fight at another tempo and with more movement in the ring, than he is used to. Chad can't hit a barn door while moving, have you not noticed. He would miss miss miss all night and eventually tire and get sloppy.

Dawson has some nice moves, certainly, but he misses ALOT against both Adamek and Mendoza. Kessler would expose him in a JC-Lacy (or indeed Kessler-Andrade) master class 120-108 - that is if the fight even goes that long.

Normally I back Kessler but this is insane. His management are by far the worst in communicating about their fighter. They have achieved pretty good results in negotiating but they are stupid as **** if they dont take this fight.

The cancellation sucks big time - Im disgusted and pissed by the shitty management Kessler has. Actually Im very dissapointed in Kessler as well since he apparently doesnt put any pressure on his management at all.

WTF do they want with a shitty Belt?
