Why the hell did agree to fight him in the first place? Why is he wasting everyone's time? I wonder what other big fights he has lined up seeing as how he feels he can afford to screw over major networks and big time promoters.

some people are just so hard on kessler's dick that common sense doesn't work for them anymore. you say who is miranda? who the **** is kessler? you acting like he knock the **** out of calzaghe, he got outhustled, outclassed, and outboxed in that fight. Who did kessle beat again? If miranda is such a bum and there's no reason to fight him (money or recognition wise) then why agree to fight him in the first place? doesn't kessler need a tune-up anyways?
And ffs, if you like kessler so much, wouldn't you want to see him KTFO out of miranda than doing nothing?

Maybe he changed his mind? Or Palle did? Whatever. Their prerogative. If you paid attention to every fight cancellation ever, it'd be a true waste of your time. Those who take 'news' of fights with a grain of salt in the first place until something is set in stone, lin other words smart fans - do not have to worry about such disappointments and feeling like their time's been wasted. And it's not like some great crime against Miranda, depriving him of this fight. What's he done anything lately to deserve a former partially-unified champ and divisional #2? He brings nothing except a middling degree of American tv audience name recognition. And hell, I don't even dislike Miranda. That's just the truth.

He should get a fight v Erdei.

Erdei would then have a good name on his resume. :D

If that's the case then it's a great move on his behalf. But I think the real reason why the fight was canceled is because it was found that Kessler in fact has no balls but where they should be is a pretty pink vagina. So now Kessler is signed to fight Anne Wolfe.

This is a great move. A belt at LHV makes him a player there and sets up a possible match with RJJ, Taylor, Tarver, Dawson or Hopkins/Calzaghe, all which are much bigger fights than Miranda. Kessler doesn't need Miranda, nor has Miranda proved he deserves a fight against Kessler, the #1 recognized SMW (now that Calzaghe is leaving the division). Let Miranda fight a top 10 SMW before he asks for a fight against Kessler.

    This makes sense.

But this is really not what I wanted Kessler to be doing right now - seems more like "we are more driven towards money, than establishing that Kessler will fight the best".

What I would have liked to see Kessler do first:

    Beat Miranda
    Beat Bute for world title
    Beat Mundine
    Beat Taylor
    Beat Pavlik
    Beat Inkin/Froch
then move up and face Erdei
    Beat Dawson
Beat Calzaghe at 40 years of age.

What rubbish... First off Mundines opposition is far worse. Secondly, Diaconu pulled out of there fight, and had to be replaced at the last minute. And he is signed to fight Glen Johnson, hardly a bum.
