:lol::lol:

Just trying to stir you up mate, i know you weren't saying anything that bad. Although things did get very heated at times.

I totally disagree with you about Dawson though, he is a very well schooled fighter. I can't wait to see more of him in action.

You were never bad at all.

Sometimes the Danes as a whole got a bit out of hand. You guys couldn't see the flaws in kesslers game that others could.

The 73.9687% fit vs Mundine stuff was pretty amusing as well.

Regardless, you guys are just passionite about your favourite fighter, which is okay in my book. I do the same with Cotto and Dawson to a degree, regardless of how hard i try to remain objective

Anyway, i hope Dawson really puts on a stellar performance so that we can see some of these great potential match ups made in the near future:good

I found this kessler quote this morning on www.mikkelkessler.com:-

"My manager chose to cancel the fight against Edison Miranda because the contract didn't fulfill our demands. I haven't seen the contract my self, but I have full confidence with my manager's choice.

My ambition is to become world champion again and I think that fighting Edison Miranda is a step down slope instead of up. Now my managers are looking for other opponents that can benefit my career in a positive way.

Edison Miranda is apparently trash-talking calling me and my crew all kinds of stuff, but I haven't read his statements and feel like it's a waste of time to look them up."

Well we don't disagree on Dawson - I think he is pretty talented too - I just don't think he has the chin to stay a reigning champion at LHW for a longer period of time - but as long as he faces opponents like the last few he should be safe.

Well Kessler wasn't fit last time around - when WBA makes him #1 and we get the rematch, then you'll see the differense :bbb (and so will Mundine)

Well, it is hard to buy that line when the Miranda team did a full disclosure of the agreement. They would have to be specific for that one to stick. They stubbed their toe on this one.

There aren't that many Miranda supporters here. I think a lot of people took his side when Kessler backed out of the fight, but that is no over rating him as a fighter. A lot of people say they love to see him fight. Again, they aren't even saying the pick him to win. You have worked overrated" into the thread, will you next post use "exposed"?

Well I still don't see many flaws in his game(if any). He was beaten by a great fighter that obviously had more experience and more sound gameplan than him(which I didn't think he had), which resulted in Kessler never really got it going.

Yes, Kessler is about the only boxer we have, so can we be blamed? Besides that, I really think we weren't bad posters. Most danes never went as far as saying that Calzaghe is crap, or anything like this, but made sound predictions. They saw Calzaghe as a great fighter, but believed in Kessler, which was valid enough. This was indeed a very difficult fight to predict - dane or not.

Dawson has the talent, and is part of the future...

I have been trying to get a true reason why they dropped out, but cant figure it out. They are straight out lying about the contract issues, I know that for a fact. I wish Mogens Palle would just be honest and quit the bull****.

So you believe the Miranda team over the Palle team?

However, I also think it was a bad move, but since I wasn't in the negotiation room, I can't be sure. However, I am sure they could have ironed out the differences, if they were interested enough. If what Miranda team say is true, then there must have been something better in the horizon - but they should still have fought it out.

Miranda would have been an okay rebound fight.

Yeah - it seems to be some sort of mantra inside your head, so I guess by now you believe it to be so... No matter how illogical that statement is.

And you can't fight for a WBA strap coming off a loss. So what is the real reason?

I like both fighters but I like Calz. a bit more. For me it was pretty much a pick em' fight going in, I didn't even put v-cash on it! I didn't watch the fight live but read Blocky's RBR thread (thought he did a real good job). Around the end of the second or third round I remember one guy posting, obviously a Calz. fan, like there was a changing of the guard from Calz. to Kessler. But then Joe came on. I watched the fight on U-tube when it came on and, yep it sure was a good competitive fight. I scored it for Joe more convincingly on points than the judges, but the rounds were mostly very close IMO, to the point of where Kessler did way better than my scores indicated. So my point here is that the Kessler pre-fight enthusiasm by his fans was validated. Now I just want to see him get back in the ring, and soon. From what limited info I have, backing out of the Miranda fight is at least very strange, and at most, a very unprofessional move. Hope there is a good reason for it.

He called out Calzaghe as soon as he became champ. Mikkel has shown that he isn't afraid to fight anyone - do you have any proof of otherwise?

Why would he be afraid of a crude fighter, that probably even can't get past Bika? Who has he beaten to make Kessler afraid? He has taken on all the top 5 in SMW, save Bute, and he should be afraid of a former MW, who beat nothing but a former smw-prospect in Allen Green? Yes, this is logic.

Mundine would take Miranda to school and back... Get a ****ing clue.
