First of all let me start off by saying I'm neutral when it comes to the Pacman vs Floyd thing, I actually don't believe anyone of them are scared of each other, I just believe it to be mind games played by both sides.

In a new interview Steve Forbes bragged about sparring with Pacman, and I started wondering why is Pacman sparring Steve Forbes for a Clottey fight, they are no way at all similar when it comes to styles. If you recall Freddie Roach said he needed more time to prepare for Mayweather, and even admitted to recently watching tapes of him fighting south paws.

I believe unknown to Pacman Freddie Roach sabotaged the possible fight between Mayweather and Pacman to buy more training time for Pacman if not so why is Freddie caught every other week contradicting himself? and why the hell are they sparring Steve Forbes the same man Dela Hoya used to prepare for Floyd?

By the way I love real Pac fans and real Floyd fans, but if the first Manny fight you watched was him vs Dela Hoya then you don't count for **** and you're just a dick rider.

I agree. It makes sense. Plow through Clottey and already be prepared for Floyd.

Forbes has an upcoming fight. He gave de la Hoya a hard time. Forbes is a tough little *******, believe it or not.

Could be the reason but I'm not high on another PAC-Floyd fight negotiation in the near future. I'm heavily disappointed with the last one. These 2 boxers make it difficult for each other to make the fight.

I think PAC-Mosley is much easier fight to make so I'm rooting for Mosley to upset Floyd and we can have PAC-Mosley next for the linear welterweight championship and unification fight (granting both PAC and Mosley wins their respective next fights).

With Floyd winning over Mosley, nothing will happen next with regards to a PAC-Floyd fight. These 2 can't agree to fight.

Roach still thinks that the PBF fight will come through after Pac's next fight. He thinks Pac can handle Clottey easily therefore he is already getting Pac ready for PBF, especially since if Pac wins the election his training time will take a hit for his next fight.

btw I read somewhere that when PBF fought his first southpaw, his dad contacted his handlers and told them never to put Floyd in against another southpaw. I don't know if there's any credibility to that though cause it came from some internet blogger but I wonder where he got it.

That is true. Forbes is similar to Floyd and not cottey but pac cant train for mayweather and clottey at the same time. Clotteys actually a very good fighter had cotto in trouble a few times Pac cant afford to overlook him.

But yea what other reason is there for Pac to spar forbes?

Really ambitious of freddy to have pac training for two fights at once.

To be fair Steve Forbes is like the universal sparring partner for everybody. I'm sure Forbes has sparred at least a few reasons with every fighter to ever lace em up. I have Forbes sparring with Jack Jackson but the footage is on betamax.

Good plan in terms of preparing for Floyd but bad in a business sense. If Floyd beats Shane he'll run the negotiation table. I'm not sure which plan works best:

    A) Get more training time, take a paycut, and be subject to random testing all the way up to the day before the fight
    B) Fight Floyd in a bit of a short notice with a 14 day blood test window and get paid $40 mil

I'm kinda leaning towards B because even if you lose, you will get your $40 mil and a rematch for an equal or better amount.

The talk about Jr. being at a disadvantage against a lefty is a myth. His loss against Todorov in the Olympics was a robbery and Floyd was never really in trouble in that fight. Zab gave him hell for 4 rounds but he found a way to adjust. The right hand lead which is said to work very effectively on a southpaw is Floyd's money punch.

With all due respect & IMO, I really doubt Vivek would talk any negative stuff about Floyd or about any black fighter at all. Vivek is a very biased and unproffessional journalist, if you can call him a journalist at alL!! I've followed him for quite a while & even called out his bluffs/biases... he, himself knows it, he's gone overboard with his subjectivity!

    i wouldn't call him a journalist, he's more of a blogger.

if you look at his last Q&A on the main page, he says what I just said.
