    Now the numpty alliance also known as 'team elite' continue to make threads about BHop desperatly trying to undermine his ATG status and though it's nothing new the hate is on the increase...could it be because BHop is getting multi fight deals with HBO as he looks to close in on being the oldest world champion ever or could it be the movie that's in the works about his life?

    The fact is, Hopkins accepted a very good offer from Calzaghe and then demanded twice as much the next day. It seems Calzaghe called his bluff by agreeing to the fight, which is when Hopkins priced himself out.

    You're dealing with British people. They dont have very many great boxers. If Ricky Hatton retired without facing any prime opponents, he'd be talked about like Calslappy is, and Mayweather would be hated on.


    Fact is we all know Hopkins is a great fighter. And nobody knows who Calslaps is outside of butt**** engerland.

    YOu're one of the good ones. I feel sorry for you. Very few good BRitish posters on this site. Addy, Popkins, a few others, but most are former Hatton fans that just started following boxing.

    one is an all time great( B Hop) the other is a good fighter who never fought any A level competition (Calzaghe) the brits on here can be biased all they want. history will speak for itself.

    calzaghe said he couldnt get the big fights,he should have gone to us and got his name and forced the fights earlier.

    he left with good health and plenty of opponents still to face to properly prove himself.

    froch has already gone past him.
