The real reason why Floyd and Manny have not fought yet.

Noticed that Arum has'nt been berating Mayweather in the media lately.....in fact he's kind of been sympathetic to the issues Mayweather is facing not related to boxing.......

.......the one thing that Arum wants as the thread starter suggested is to not have GBP involved in a Pacquiao promotion, because it costs Arum a good cut of the purse due to Pacquiao's ridiculously signing with two promotional companies.........


.....as has been mentioned in this thread already, Arum is perfectly happy at the moment having the fans and media mull over a Mayweather-Pacquiao, as that alone is hype for Manny Pacquiao.


One thing I am 100% certain about, a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight would not have, wont, and will never happen if GBP is involved in the promotion.....the fact that a JMM-Pacquiao fight is immediately being dismissed by Arum and calling a situation where Marquez would get less than 20% of the purse "overpricing" is proof that Arum wont allow Pacquiao to fight any GBP fighter.

.....I'm about certain that Arum himself has already expressed that to either Mayweather or one of his representatives.

It would have been nice if you also explained why Floyd doesn't want to surface and collect his 50% which is estimated at 40 mil.

....and since you said that Arum won't really be making money from this fight, it would be an incentive for Floyd and he would really be sticking it to Uncle Bob is he comes out right now and take this fight.
