Training is one of the most neglected phases of athletics. Too much time is given to the development of skill and too little to the development of the individual for participation. Ultimately it is not a matter of petty techniques but of highly developed spirituality and physique. -Bruce Lee IMO, Floyd seems to have the spiritual understanding of an infant and does not have a true warrior spirit, but Manny does. Floyd has superior technique but Manny flows. Floyd will run and counter all night and lose by UD. The judges will respond to Mannys heart and courage and give him the nod if PBF is not knocked out or quits. The smaller man will win not because of natural talent, but because of heart and dedication. Manny may simply be the better man. What do you think?
'Faster' is actually very debatable. And sure, he's more skilled, but the man with more skill doesn't always win the match.
This is why I hate newb, Floyd focus is one of key reasons he wins fight. His ability to stay cool under fire is what make his so special, his athletic ability is just a add on. Have ever stop to think what it take to be a counter puncher ? FOCUS !! the ability too keep your eyes open and focused on your opponent watching for mistakes. If you knew anything about floyd, you know that his workout in the gym are legend .. There a reason they floyd is one step above his comp, he stays in shape year round. This give him time to work on his mechanic and strategy while the other fighter is training to lose weight and regain conditioning . You floyd haters, allow floyd antics to distract you from the real Floyd who is a absolute Gym Rat 1st Class . You quote bruce buy you don't what it mean.
I don't question his training. He's in great shape. However, I do question his mental capacity. His skills are legend. It seems from the outside that Floyd is not that smart, unless making tons of money makes you smart. I see something in Pac that resembles Bruce Lee, and it is more of a spiritual dedication that is missed on Floyd. I may be wrong but that's my impression. I'm not a Floyd hater, I just love Bruce Lee and have been studying him lately. Floyd does not share that deep understanding of life that made Bruce so dangerous. He said that it was largely mental, a state of mind. Would you ever elect Mayweather to be your political leader or expect him go to war with the Govt. like Ali did?
This is my point I guess. I have a hunch that Pac is tuned into something more powerful thatn natural skill or finesse. The man is a fighting machine. His chin is a testimant to his heart, and he is going to bring it to Mayweather, win lose or draw. I don't think Floyd can hurt him and his mental toughness will prevail.
:rofl:yep:hey:good No, actually, he needs to find peace within himself. Unless it's all an act to make money he comes off like a child half the time. I respect Floyd and think he's one of the best, it just doesn't seem like he has the spiritual thing going for him. Materialism in America has done this to lots of folks. It's a general disconnect that could eventually cost him in the end.
