IMO, Floyd seems to have the spiritual understanding of an infant and does not have a true warrior spirit, but Manny does. Floyd is weak mentally. He has good technique but Manny flows. Floyd will run and counter all night and lose by UD. The judges will respond to Mannys heart and courage and give him the nod if PBF is not knocked out or quits. The smaller man will win not because of natural talent, but because of heart and dedication. Manny may simply be the better man.

I agree. These people who inclines Floyd will win should not forget that Pac already had fought some skilled fighters in his resume but still didn't give them an advantage. Let us see if Floyd is so above ordinary on handling Pacquiao's ability.

This is why I hate newb, Floyd focus is one of key reasons he wins fight. His ability to stay cool under fire is what make his so special, his athletic ability is just a add on.
Have ever stop to think what it take to be a counter puncher ? FOCUS !! the ability too keep your eyes open and focused on your opponent watching for mistakes.

If you knew anything about floyd, you know that his workout in the gym are legend .. There a reason they floyd is one step above his comp, he stays in shape year round. This give him time to work on his mechanic and strategy while the other fighter is training to lose weight and regain conditioning .

You floyd haters, allow floyd antics to distract you from the real Floyd who is a absolute Gym Rat 1st Class .

"Trains as hard and fights as well" were my words, and they were in response to the OP's comment about mental strength. Even someone as challenged by rudimentary spelling as you can see the difference between the two, right?

I know Sugar Ray Leonard has mental strength. That was my ****ing point; just because a fighter takes a defense-oriented approach to winning doesn't mean he's weak-willed or scared. Sugar Ray, Ali and Sweet Pea are all glowing examples of that and I think it's a bit shallow for the TS to simply say "the judges will respond to Manny's heart and courage and give him the nod". Many of history's defensive masters have faced tough, game opponents, that doesn't mean those opponents deserved every decision.

Admittedly Floyd didn't seem to keen on fighting Cotto, although he would have beaten him. But the Margarito fiasco was a damn joke. that pug had no shot of beating him with his wide, windmilling punches. Can anyone really criticize his choice to fight for more money against a much better opponent in Oscar De La Hoya? As for Mosley; Mayweather called him out for years back when Sugar was the darling of the sport. Mosley didn't wanna know about it. That pathetic ring invasion after Marquez was a massive sign of desperation, I wouldn't blame Mayweather in the slightest for having a private chuckle over that one.

So basically Floyd ducked Cotto, right? the fight never happened for whatever reason, now it all seems a bit irrelevant. Shoudl we scour history for every mother****in' fight that didn't happen? I believe Money came out of retirement to fight Manny. His record is littered with once strong names and "Next big thing"s. He retired at the top. Now the scene at 147 is shocked back to life, and he comes out of retirement. Manny wasn't even on the radar at WW when Money retired, now he's the king. The fight's gonna happen.
