Like Balrog was inspired by Mike Tyson, Sagat was inspired by a Thai fighter also called Sagat. This content is protected
He's definitely impressive in what he does. Beautiful job using punches to bait the high guard and then split the guard with vertical elbows. Or pinning the arms and then throwing those elbows. He was good at leaning back, avoiding his opponent's kicks or catching them and countering with low kicks of his own. He's not my favorite Muay Thai fighter to watch, but you can't deny his skill.
