Exactly how was Ruiz lucky? If AJ didn't take Ruiz serious enough or slacked on training, that has nothing to do with Ruiz or luck. Ruiz first hurt AJ in an exchange. That's Ruiz's thing. Nothing to do with luck. He punches with these bigger guys. AJ thought he was gonna have an early night and be out on the streets of New York city sooner than expected. It's very unfortunate for AJ that a pudgy vato had a different plan for the Brit. AJ wasn't mentally or physically prepared for a war. As a result, AJ ended up tucking his tail deep between his cheeks and went back home concussed. If AJ isn't careful, he may end up being Ruiz's personal sombrero cleaner! LOL

 

If he wins again clearly he has AJs number, but I really can't see that happening.
Ruiz is simply not good enough and is not all that good period.

That's because AJ is not 6 foot 5 as you imply, AJ is tad over 6 ft 6 or 199cm

So on official heights, that would give AJ a 4.5 inch height advantage.

 

Ruiz is not a tall guy AJ dwarfed him when they fought.

He's a big man though. Bigger than me. He looks shorter due to all the mass he carries. A bit like a gorilla.
