    Reality check: Holding an alphabet strap in a weight division does not make you THE champion. Too many people credit boxers with being champions at weights were they win a title against a fighter ranked no.3 or something. To be the champion you have to beat the champion or clear out the division.


    I.E Jones was not the heavyweight champion.

    e.g. b hop ,pavlik, taylor.
    taylor beats b hop twice ,pavlik beats taylor twice indicating that pavlik should beat b hop,but due to a styles clash pavlik gets battered.
    some people can handle peoples styles better than others making them look better.until they fall.

    I think now would be a good time to bump this thread..

    Reality Check: Just because a boxer loses, it does not mean he was "overrated", "exposed" or "a hypejob".

    Especially if it in a unification match against a dangerous opponent.

    Reality Check: Many ESB boxing "fans" are scum.
