I believe all these matches would be very competitive. By no means would Haye win easily. He was on the floor against Mormeck, and has proven to be chinny. If you watch Houck beat Tokarev, you will realize how good he is. I believe Dawson is very vulnerable. A weight drained Adamek dropped him. Dianocou has tremendous power. I could see him stopping Dawson. Have you seen Erdei box? Very skilled. What makes you think Dawson is superior to these guys?

I have seen every one of Hopkins fights since he became IBF middleweight champion. His level of competition over the years is relatively weak and has caused most Americans to overrate him. At 43 his reflexes and stamina are diminished. Calzaghe is in his prime. A bad beatdown is forthcoming. Deep down Hopkins knows it. It is why he may avoid the contest.

I believe the Hopkins comment racialized this fight. However, the myth that black fighters are better than white or latin or asian fighters is just that a myth. This is being proved out in the real world. Look at recent fight results and champions and rankings. Also look at Mixed Martial Arts.

So stop saying things like "overall more great blacks". Just not accurate.

Your smokin crack then if you think Calzaghe man handles Hopkins like a green Lacy !!And his level of compititon is about on par with Joe's lets be realistic Peter Manfredo ,Mario Veit ,Byron Mitchell aren't murderes row now !! Kessler is probably the best guy he's faced in years ..

And keep holding on to his age as his downfall he continues to prove people wrong !

Its going to be a great fight but I will say that I am riding with Joe only on work rate ..If it turns out to be anything like the Winky fight though expect Hops to win in yet another boring fashion ..

THis fight has no meaning. Hopkins is a senior citizen now. How can Calzaghe fans be proud of beating an old man? Where was Calzaghes new found courage when Hopkins was in his 30s.
Where was Calzaghe when RJJ was in his prime?

Calzaghe was and still is a chicken too afraid to to come out his home or take any real challenges.
