Even though we sit and judge these fighters by thier actions inside a square ring, we never take time to really put ourselves in thier shoes. Lamon is a friend of mine that loves and respects the sweet science of boxing. He put his body through hell to loose the weight it took to get back in the ring and maybe that affected his inner dog. I would rather see a man alive and well than a memory on some internet chat site. These men don't have the advantages that some of us have or they would not be taking punishment for a living risking thier lives everytime they go to "work". I respect all stand-up boxers, but this is a gladiator sport that eats it's own. If and when Lamon gets back in the ring I hope that he can get the respect any boxer deserves.
