    The stakes are very high the pressure is intense and Team Garcia finds itself in the eye of the storm on their biggest stage ever. Puerto Ricans in general are a very emotional people.

    Angel loves Danny and as the fighters are being introduced to hear the greater applause and approval go to the opponent has to tear at Angels heart.

    Danny's is the great American story, the kid from nowhere, with only a dream, hard work, guts and determination he realizes his dream and becomes the champ.

    The pro-Mexican crowd in Vegas of course wont cheer for the son of their greatest rivals in boxing. Though he can say the dumbest things at times I know Angel Garcia is the type of guy who would give you the shirt off his back, for his sake I hope Danny wins.

    I don't blame him he loves his son and his son is badly underrated has accomplished alot and not getting the support of his own county. Fcuking ridiculous.:-( Danny should have everyone behind him but he doesn't a bunch of no loyalty POS in that crowd.

    I think he really does want the Latino support, but the crowd is hugely Mexican (which is why he gave that speech out of nowhere about Latinos). They won't root for Danny-boy because of the rivalry. I know I'm going for Matthysse. Good post though.

    Nothing new here. Dude is predictable, get's all wild and ****. He's understandably defending his kid and what not. Trying to get to Mathysee but you know this cat is not the one taking punches on Saturday, it's his son.He might be having nightmares of his SON getting KTFO!! I don't know. It's parents worse nightmare.

    Yeah they can but they're still not loyal POS that I will continue to call out. You don;'t see people doing this in other countries but yet Americans seem to go out of their way to do it.

    yes but he is lost in the moment, and not using his head he is letting his emotions get the better of him without realizing what the **** is going on,

    which is making him come across as a bigger ******* . Angel is a guy from the streets, very street smart but clearly lacking the polish to handle the media and the media constantly eggs him on for copy.

    Its a ****ing train wreck.

    He's a xenophobic idiot of the highest caliber. It's amazing how profoundly different he and his son happen to be. Maybe Danny takes after his mom, but Angel is an idiot. Not only are his points ****, but his delivery is ****. The only pro I see to his antics is the fact that he diminishes the scrutiny focused on his son leading up to the big night. I don't know, but he's a grade A dummy.

    I will tell you this when Macho lost to Chavez I ****ing cried got drunk and threw up. When I was a kid and Gomez lost to Sanchez I suffered so I don't think I have ever gotten over that one, the pain was so great.

    You have no Idea how much we hate losing to them, Trinidad put a halt to all that **** for a while, Cotto has been well.....lets just say we will never know if Margarito was a ****ing cheat or wether he would have made it to 12 in the garden. Lately they have been wearing us out.

    Danny is the current proper rep and put an old Morales out of his misery and well if he can win Sat we can expect good things from him other than that its pretty barren out there. The rivalry is real you have no idea.

    their talent pool is greater because of their greater numbers we are a tiny Island but man for man we are greater in reality and historically

    Any of them go down to Argentina it would be interesting to see how much support they would get there. I guarantee they would be lucky to get out with their colons intact.

    Margarito cheated in their first fight and cotto would have made it the full 12. the idea that he was fading fast? I just don't see it. Margarito's eye was fading fast.
