i didn't really see it as a melt down. he seems more mild mannered and confident. i think his claim that danny is being disrespected and underated is right on point. ring magazine putting matthysse on the cover was a bit premature as was schaeffer's statement about matthysse being the next pac. one thing is for sure....matthysse has had very favorable match ups ala pac....but danny is by far the best fighter he has ever faced. it won't be a walk in the park.

I thought his diatribe was hilarious. He is who he is- a politically incorrect and slightly racist trainer. He does make pre-fight and post-fight interviews very entertaining though.

 

Danny has my 100% support. He deserves to be a very respected fighter. He has a nice resume already. The fact that he signed up for Lucas after a tough fight with Judah says a lot about him. Boxing fans in general can be a bunch of assholes. Its nothing new.
