people are forgetting that manny injured his left hand in his first fight against marquez. And he couldnt make 130 lb wt after barrera 2, but he still fought marquez just to be the a lineal champ at 130. But now manny is comfortable at 140, no one can beat him at that weight.

Pac would be down if he did that. Pac is a lot more intelligent so to use Juan Diaz as the barometer as to what'll happen is stupid.

 

Agree. JMM already took a WW Pacs punches in the rematch and Pac still couldn't stop him .WW version of Marquez is going to KO Pac.

 

This sums up how i feel as a UK JMM fan, at 35 its asking alot for JMM to remain as good while going up in weight, especially for a rematch against Pac, just ashame the decision he deserved didnt go his way.

 

Totally agree, BigBone. Floyd knows Marquez is a sucker for left hooks. Floyd by KO. Like another poster stated, Marquez doesn't even see them coming.

 

pac hit harder when he 1st fought marquez he through his entire body behind the punch so hard he was off balanced. He still has power out of this world but if marq could take them before he can take them a little better now

 

floyd does not come forward and put pressure like diaz does. yes, floyd might be the harder puncher and fights very good on the inside, but only throws punches in bunches when he counters. juan diaz goes forward and throws punches in bunches so he'd connect on any fighter eventually. maybe the reason why he chooses volume over power

pac vs jmm II is different from what you saw in his last 4 figths.

Diaz is a "punching" machine while Floyd is a "shoulder rolling" machine. Diaz throws 80+ punches per round, Floyd's just about 20% of that.

It's a fact that due to the extra weight at 140 Pac would have more power. It's simple Math.


Pac is also a freak in that he brings his speed up the weight divisions due to his powerful legs.

Pac beats JMM at 140. JMM won't be getting up this time.

Marquez was never even close to KOing or troubling Pac in their fight. All the evidence points to a Pac KO. Pac has more power at 140 and has retained his speed. He's also improved his skills.

Just think about it. Put your emotions aside and look at it factually. Marquez was saved by the bell in their second fight and wandered to the wrong corner. Being hit with a 140 Pac with better skills and the same speed = Pac KO.
