Yea...Power is relative to the weight class.

I'll tyoe it again just in case you couldnt comprehend the first time

Everybody loses power as they go up.

Still have yet to provide evidence of this.

You wont score the KO's at the rate you do at your original weight when you move up.

tons of evidence for my statement

Matter fact make a poll asking if fighters lose power the more they move up and see what results you get...since you dont believe it

Does it not speak volumes that other professional champions cannot find a way to KO Floyd while simutaneously being outworked, out boxed and out smarted. You can hate the man to his core but he has shown time and time again he is level above the rest. I have hard time accepting the fact that you as a boxing fan feel that Floyd is not great; however, you are entitled to your opinion.

Manny has lost power moving up. Yes he dropped cotto, He didnt drop margarito, DLh or Bradley. Why is that? Because power is relative to the weight you fight at.

    Create the poll...dont believe me

Floyd is not only a great fighter, but he's the best fighter of this generation, probably the best fighter of the last 25 years and definitely an ATG. So this idea that he's not a "great" fighter is just absolutely moronic. Just moronic.

If it's his KO power that people have an issue with, well he did have a good amount of it between 130-140 lbs. Once he got up to 147 (FOUR weight classes above where he started,)is when his punching power, or lack thereof, was apparent and he became more of a counterpuncher/potshotter than in the lower weights when he was an offensive dynamo that put together ridiculous combinations.

It's pretty evident that all boxers who attempt to go up in weight classes have this issue, where their punching power isn't as good as it was in the lower weights.

Let's see what GGG's punching power would look like if he fought Light Heavyweights or Cruiserweights. People on this forum speak of him losing his punching power if he just jumped up ONE weight class to SMW, imagine if he attempted to go up even further than that?

And lastly, Willie Pep is considered by most to be at worst a top 10 fighter of all time. If anyone thinks FLoyd is a boring fighter, they'd hate WIllie Pep even worse. That guy had a much lower KO percentage than FLoyd and would constantly go through rounds throwing less than double digit punches (especially when he would cruise through a round to take a break/re-energize.) Yet no boxing historian or anyone who has watched the great Pep say he's anything worse than top 10 ever.

Obviously FLoyd rubs a lot of people the wrong way, but let's get this straight- the guy is an ATG whether anyone likes to admit it or not. You can make an argument he's the greatest defensive fighter in the history of the sport, and is such a rare breed in the sense that it looks like he's actually getting better as he gets older.
