Ricky had pretty decent footwork. He needed it to get inside and do his dirty work.

It's a combination of option B and C put together. Any aggressive wild fighter that is there to throw anywhere he could possibly land(shoulders, head, chest, body..etc) nonstop, smother, push and be in Mayweather's face all night will always trouble Mayweather's style. You simply can't pose in there and allow someone like Mayweather be comfortable and develop a rhythm. If Mayweather gets comfortable in there, it's pretty much over for his opponent.

You're also forgetting Mayweather liking to take a look at opponents early in fights and also take some rounds off.

I think he could have blitzed Hatton for instance inside 6 rounds if he wanted to.

I think he took round 5 off in that fight too.

Surprised you didn't mention oscar, I mean that fight was close until the 9th or 10th round. oscar was actually ahead after 7 rounds. But he was able to give Floyd problems because of his jab, pressure and speed. floyd hasn't faced many fast fighters and even at that stage, oscar had a little zip but nothing at all compared to his prime, he was lightning fast when he wanted to open up and really put alot into his punches and combos. Its manny's speed that will give Floyd tons of problems, especially at this stage, and of course punch volume and pressure.

Agreed. If Pac don't give Floyd time to think he is half way there.

    No.

Lets put this into perspective without your ball gagging agenda.

    1. 3 rounds to Maidana, being generous?

Do yourself and remove your status as a fan of boxing. No one, even Floyds family would have considered that to be true. Hence the rematch.

    2. Castillo was easy work for Floyd? Really? So that is why, post fight he was boo'ed and the polls following the fight also strongly suggested that Castillo won the fight or at best drew the fight.

So, to say that he was "no problem", again suggests that you are just another one of these trolling nut jugglers. (code red is that you?)

    3.

    Guerrero - He is chit
Ortiz - He is chit and yet he still landed A LOT on Floyd while he was in there. The pressure did work. If you claim otherwise, you are delusional.

    4. Pressure fighting. Look at the fight that Corley put Mayweather in. Mayweather struggled with Corley for the first 5 rounds. Unfortunately, Corley could not keep it together. Pressure fighting and taking the straight right away from Floyd works very well. Another example of front foot pressure is Hatton. He was also doing very well against Floyd, until he lost his composure.

Floyd is very beatable, but you need to fight your own fight and not fall for the traps that he sets. If anyone has a chance at beating Floyd, I believe Pacquiao and Khan are the ones to do it.

However, Khan's chin wouldnt stand up to the task, even against Floyds shots. As Floyd wouldnt hold back & Khan is too stupid to stick to the gameplan.

Pacquiao has all of the tools apart from the dirtiness required to cause Floyd a whole heap of problems.

Paci - OW has got nothing to bother Mayweather with, other than a southpaw stance. He lunges in off balance constantly, throws his 4 or 5 punch combo's and moves back out more or less in a straight line. He has go NO answer to counter punchers as PROVEN in 4 fights with JMM. I don't care how old Mayweather is getting, anyone who thinks he couldn't still time Paci_OW's lunges and nail him with either a left hook or a straight right is delusional. All that will happen is the Fillipino will taste a few hard counters early, and just keep walking forward with a high guard hoping to land a big shot, all the while getting totally out boxed.
