^ lol , you're not not reading my posts or very clearly at all.. I said that FLOYD HAS MORE SOLID/TEXT-BOOK FOOTWORK BUT MANNY'S FEET IS QUICKER/MORE AGILE. I'm not saying Manny has technically better footwork then Floyd; but being technically better doesn't always tell the whole story. Roy Jones was technically flawed in many ways but that didn't stop him from completely dominating everybody.

 

Not great in the footwork dept??? Just watched Pacquaio-De la Hoya, and Pacquiao's footwork is amazing. Pacquiao reminds me of a mongoose fighting a cobra!

Thats a matter of opinion. As Gander tasco pointed out, Floyd is better footwork from a technical point of view. Pac's is a lot more subtle...ever wonder why people say Pac's punches comes from different angles? Its not just because he throws his punches from any position, its because one minute the guy is to your right, then hes to your left, he positions himself in akward different angles so quick, probably gives the opponents that illusion of speed too. He's also like a whirlwind in that his positions moves with every punch.

Its different type of movement thats all.

As for the thread starter, the technical breakdown of this fight has been said in many threads before, feel free to research it. Its not just cos "its pac".

Have you seen Pacman's calves? They are the most prominent muscles in Pacquiao's body. That must count for something at least!

People tend to forget that Pacquiao plays basketball on a daily basis which enhances the strength and quickness of these particular muscle group (Pacquiao's power comes from there too!).

No he cant win a chessmatch with Floyd, apart from Floyd being better at that game, he is also taller and has a big reach advantage. I also think Floyd is more accurate and faster with his punches when it comes to reaction and seing opening, Pac will have to use his speed the best way it suits him.
