That's what everyone said pre-Mosley fight. When Floyd felt that power, he took over in the last minute of that same round until the end of the fight.

The fact that he took Mosley's will and bent it to his own is impressive, but trying to bend Pacquiao's will the same way is an entirely different proposition.

he felt Mosley's and still came forward even after being hurt....u underestimate Floyd while overpraising Pac....Pac is a very good fighter but soon as people realize Floyd is the same or even better than Pac...the sooner the will realize Pac has a very big problem ahead of him.

Or, it could end up like Donaire v Darchinyan (which just happened to be rerun on Showtime tonight). Darchinyan's unbending will is what got his ass knocked out by a counterpuncher. At least Shane knew to back off of Floyd.

SPECULATION....ILL TAKE THE SIDE THAT FLOYD REALLY THINKS MANNY ON SOMETHING FOR WHATEVER REASON...HEY..WHATEVER RIGHT...ITS NOT AGAINST THE RULES FOR FLOYD TO ASK AND IT ISNT AGAINST THE RULES FOR PACQUIAO TO SAY NO....SO NOW WE HAVE NO FIGHT:good..

Technical reasons for Pac beating anyone has been overrated. Your biggest mistake is thinking logic applies to Pac.

In short, Pac has a chance, because Pac does the opposite of what people in ESB think. The crow feast usually follows.

I just fail to see this " trouble " with southpaws when he's dominated all of them.

An unbending will is an entirely different league from being obstinate. Once upon a time Pacquiao was just obstinate, the way Darchinyan was against Donaire. Take a look at Pacquiao-Cotto and you tell me if Pacquiao fights anything remotely resembling obstinate.
Okay, but as with everybody, I just hope it gets made however which way.

    its a 50-50 fight
pacs pressure southpaw style unorthodox use of angles in punching and footwork, power will trouble floyd.floyds defence smarts discipline counterpunching will trouble pac.
both fighters are polar opposites of each other

I UNDERSTAND...ITS CLEAR THAT FLOYD IS NOT GONNA BACK OFF THE DEMANDS..NOTHING WRONG WITH ASKING..CANT KNOCK HIM THERE...CANT KNOCK MANNY FOR SAYING NO BUT BOTH HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE CONSEQUENCES..

FLOYD HAS TO DEAL WITH THE FACT THAT PEOPLE WILL SAY HE DOESNT BELIEVE IN THE DRUG TESTS AT ALL AND JUST WANTS SOME SORT OF ADVANTAGE ..(HOW HE GETS AN ADVANTAGE FROM A DRUG TEST IS BEYOND ME BUT YA'LL HAVE IT IN YOUR HEAD THAT WAY)

AND PACQUIAO HAS TO DEAL WITH THE FACT THAT HIS NAME WILL BE IN SHADOWS BECAUSE LETS FACE IT...IN THIS ERA OF SPORTS...TURNING DOWN ANY DRUG TEST DOES NOT LOOK GOOD ON YOURSELF REGARDLESS OF YOUR REASON...BUT LIKE I SAID HE HAS THE RIGHT TO SAY NO...AND NOW MANY FANS/MEDIA ARE SUSPICIOUS AS TO WHY..INCLUDING MYSELF..

MAYBE HE DONT WANNA BE FOLLOWED AROUND BY USADA WHILE HE CHEATING ON JINKEE OR MAYBE HE REALLY ON SOME $HIT...I DONT KNOW...BUT HIS ACTIONS ARE SUSPICIOUS...HIM N HIS CAMP (FREDDY SAYING THEY WOULD TAKE A 5 DAY WINDOW ETC.............) DIDNT HANDLE THE NEGOTIATIONS WELL AT ALL..THEY WERE EVEN BUSTED LYING TO THE MEDIA (TWICE IF ARUM DIDNT CORRECT THE FALSE INFORMATION HE PUT OUT THERE):deal:hi:

I'm a fan of both fighters- more so Mayweather- and it's pretty simple actually...if pacman gets Mayweather hurt, he'll have more of a chance of finishing him off than Mosley did in their respective fight. As much as Pacman has evolved as a fighter the last 5 or 6 years, he still has a tendency to lunge in (especially with the straight left.) As much as he has added onto his repertoire over the years, he still does this every fight. I expect Floyd to win probably by a Wide UD or late stoppage based on Pacman's more aggressive style compared to Shane...He has the best defense and counterpunching skills of our era, hands down....

Eating enough well placed body shots will make anyone tired.
