Blocky's okay, we just exchange brutal insults at each other in forum fun, he's back for good, but that has to do with him and the heat he will recieve from the rest of you, as the moral victory was won by me.

Calzaghe beats them all, at 12 stone.

For smaller guys, just about any top modern WW-LMW owns SRR badly.

Duran would flat out wipe the floor with any current 135-160. Damn, Duran sure was great...

It works like this - want to be the best? Fight the best available to you.

    That is all.

It is ignorant to dismiss the idea Calzaghe is superior to Ali. the worst kind of ignorance, the kind you will have with you until the day you die, at which time God tells you "actually Calzaghe is better than Ali mate."

Tyson fought the best. He is a legend. Sugar Ray Leonard fought the best. He is a legend. Lennox Lewis did his best to fight the best, and most give him a pass. Modern fighters can make it.

True. Now you can get a bauble of any back alley brawler (Are you consciously trying to run down modern boxing or is this accidental?) and defend it at home until you die.

But if you want to be the best you must try to fight the best. Sometimes this means; switching promoters (Hatton), going to America (Hatton) moving up through the weight divisions (Hatton).

And guess what? This December, Hatton has the chance to make himself a legend.

You want to hand the same status to Joe for doing the bare minimum? As you wish. Not me.

Kessler, Taylor/Pavlik, Hopkins, Dawson, then we'll talk again. Son.

We will see if Calzaghe is dominant to all. I cannot say that; and neither can you until he beats Kessler. Then no one can argue after that.

    Tyson? Superstar HW, big difference.

Leonard? Superstar American Olympian before even going pro, the 80's was better than now anyway for matches.

Lewis? HW alone makes the most money.

    Not comparable Mickey.:yep
