There is always money to be made but if he loses again he will dilute the 'Hatton brand' and jeopardise the future business of his ten or so companies. Better he retires and focuses on developing his businesses and his promotional work rather then have people lose faith in his name, which could be a continued source of income and inspiration for many generations if he plays his cards right. Besides he has enough personal wealth for everyone of us.
Maybe he should fight Cotto at 145lbs if Cotto doesn't get the Pac fight. Miguel's been looking for a big money fight for a long time, so I'm sure he'd dropped a few pounds and go over to Manchester to fight Ricky. It be perfect if he beats Clottey but doesn't get the Pac fight (although Shane might have something against it), or if he loses to Joshua and still wants a big fight.
I think retirement is too early for Hatton, he still has to offer after this lose. What's so bad losing to two best pound for pound fighters. If he can still excites boxing fans and draw audience, why bother?
