The reason Tszyu would beat Floyd is the same reason Floyd will beat Shane...

At no point has KT proclaimed himself the greatest fighter that ever lived though. Tsyzu beat the best guys that coud have been put infront of him. You have to remember at that time SHOWTIME had most of the premier 140lbs fighter. After he beat Zab Judah everybody proclaimed Sharmba Mitchell as #1 140lbs figher, and most people on this board favored Mitchell to win.

As for a fight between Mayweather and Tszyu, there is many technical reasons to believe KT would have infact beat Mayweather. Tszyu always adjusted to boxers and was able to penetrated defenses. The more time he had to measure an attack the more effective it was, I don't think anybody can deny that KT had a high boxing IQ. The key to beating KT was pressure. Never has KT demonstated prolonged weakness from boxers, he always adjusted.

The times Mayweather has been in trouble though, it has always been against stronger oppenents that have pressured him. The best example of this was of course the Castillo fight, and I don't think there is any doubt KT would have made a more effective attack.

Styles make fights, and a boxing style like Mayweather had consistantly proved to be advantagous for Tszyu, the same can not be said about strong, pressure fighting styles like Tszyu.

Obviously I meant prime Zoo. But I do think he would have given Floyd complete hell and very likely beaten him, just from a style standpoint. It's a shame that fight never happened.

Prime Tszyu would have been a hell of a challenge for Mayweather. Two fighters that are/were masters of timing. One with more speed, Mayweather. One with more one-punch power, Tszyu. Great bout. I would go with Mayweather.

If you think Zoo would have adjusted and outboxed a guy superior in every department to him other than power you're out of your rabbit ass mind. This is the same guiy who was beat by a crack head in Cool Vince Phillips. The guy was a better fighter when he was younger before he fell in love with his power but PBF is on a completly different level than Zoo and would have beaten any version of him.

for real man. Exactly what i'm thinking. ALL kostya got on floyd is power but Kostya is mainly a right hand guy. Floyd is sharp with both hands, accruate and fast. Kostya is so slow on foot too. He would need a guy to come at him. Kostya would be a walking punching bag. Floyd have fought guys with every type of style and a handful of kostyas. When did Kostya fought anyone in his career that is as complete as floyd? Floyd would be a 3-1 fave prime for prime and 10-1 today.

Anyone who can break down fights knows PBF holds the advanatges here. Zoo has a puncher's shot in this fight at best. And betting on PBF to get knocked out is foolsih. Especially since he's never been really hurt knocked down or KOed. Not only that he's a great defensive fighter as well. PBF is just a bad match up for Zoo period. He would take his right hand away and proceed to outpoint Zoo for the rest of the fight. If Zoo can't KO PBF he definitely isn't going to outbox him.

Roger Mayweather aswell as Floyd both know that , that fight would have been say it taking place back when Tszyu was in his Prime would have been Mayweather's toughest fight ever.

Those making out PBF would kill him are ****ing idiots and know nothing about boxing in general.

And im talking actually styles and fighting in general.

They are only looking at records.

If you have watched enough tape of both guys you would know like Roger already did that it is a very very dangerous fight for Floyd at 140.

If you dont believe me watch the Dela Hoya v Mayweather fight.

Did you not read my statement "styles make fights" or do you not know anything about boxing? Mayweather would never employ the same style as Phillips, to even compare the two is moronic. I said very clearly that KT doesn't respond well to pressure fighting, which Phillips and Hatton employed, a style Mayweather is incapable, or at the very least, unwilling to employ.

Laughable statements. Tszyu's footwork has always been regarded as outstanding, technical fact. Watch any fight he's had with boxers.

Once again this is a poster who is unwilling to seperate an overall fighter such as Floyd, with a guy who's style would be a disaster against his own.

Every single poster here has said Floyd would beat KT because Floyd is great. Guess what? Boxing doesn't work like that, if it did Ali wouldn't have gotten spanked by Norton. Styles make fights, and if you don't understand why KT would have presented a challange to Mayweather than you understand boxing. (BTW, before the "fan boy" **** starts I've already clearly stated KT's weakness, none of which Mayweather would be able to expoit)
