I don't think anyone with half a brain on this forum disputes that Vitali is not among the best 10 HWs that ever lived.
I didn't make up the criteria. He will be judged more harshly, not by me, but by the people that matter when his bogus career his over. You put put him in your little fantasty list's all you want and thats wher he'll reamain.
Who said anything about anyone looking like an *******? Obviously this discussion and the facts make you uncomfortable and edgy. For that I am truly sorry.
Yes there are, eos better in every department. Homles did good things after Tyson, like beating undefeated, prime, olympic gold medalist-Ray Mercer. Tyson beat every no.1 contender that was there. Wlad hasn't even done that.
Wlad is a first ballot hall of famer no doubt. If Wlad retired tomorrow, name me 20 HWs you would rate above him
Many white American men have an inferiority complex in relation to blacks. So no wonder. This is why the next white HW champion certainly wont be American... they are mentally defeated before they enter the ring against a colored brother. White men from other countries don't have this complex - hence the Emilianenkos, Klitchchos. even Price, Fury etc.
the K brothers will not be appreciated until YEARS after they retire... just like Lenox and many others. To talk about where they stand in ATG history is premature IMO since they are still active HOWEVER.... some on here saying "they arent even HOF boxers"... thats just stupid. Just the fact they made history by being HW champs at the same time (brothers)is enough to but them into the HOF ..add in longevity and domination and they are a lock for HOF
Lewis fought in a great era. Lennox rematched and defeated his only loses. Lennox fought and beat the young and up-comming future world titlist. Lennox has fought elite level and ATG fighters. Wlad can boast none of that. There will not be much to look back and remember him by except fighting bottom feeders in a division that was dead in the water.
I think Tyson has a better resume and his ATG status is more justified that Wlad's. Tyson fought all the no.1 contenders when they were at the top of they're game and some undefeated. Tucker, Bruno, Spinks, Tubbs, Thomas, Ruddock, Smith... Holmes an ATG is a good win. 7 years after Tyson he was 1 point short of beating Macall who had just knocked out Lennox Lewis. Tyson beat him so easily that he left little doubt that Holmes could of won even when prime.
