The reason why Deontay's fight is not announced yet, is the fault with the opponents?

Deontay Wilder: the real life Union Cain.

I'm amazed that the Wilder circus is still going.

Wasn't it PT Barnum who supposedly said that "nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people?"

Some in this country want SO hard to have another Tyson, they are willing to ignore the obvious con-game that is Wilder's career on the irrational hope that he is legitimate - despite all the evidence pointing in the opposite direction.:yep

As an American it's upsetting because while our HW division is at a weak point, there are guys like Thompson who have fought all comers, and proven their worth time and time again that haven't had the success Wilder has because they took the hard working path. Jennings out of the new blood is the best by far, but he's not holding a belt because likewise he opted to take no shortcuts and fight the best around.

I doubt most heavyweights would really be scared of Wilder. The case might be that respectable heavyweights aren't willing to take the pittance of money that the PBC might be offering. You could probably get a Jennings or Takam, but they won't take 100k (maybe a little more) when Wilder gets a million.

Takam would probably blister Wilder. Only wore down from Povetkin, and can be pretty relentless on his front foot when he wants to be.
Wilder does not look to be the type to have an answer for high volume pressure based on what I've seen, and his inside game is very under developed.
    Hence tune ups b4 Povetkin.

Actually, if the ref wasn't crooked, Nichols would've won that fight, but A. He didn't count the KD as a KD, and B. He stopped the fight for a small nick to save Wilder from getting KTFO thr next round. Smh

Nichols was just about to unleash his inner Butterbean, the corrupt ref saved Wilder from destruction.

He should rematch Nichols to remove this stain from his career

Povetkin isn't even champ yet he's facing WAY better competition than Wilder. What does that say? Since losing to Klitschko he's taken on Charr, Takam, Perez, and soon Wach. Just strip the fraud and give the belt to Povetkin already, geez..... Fight isn't going to happen anytime soon.
