I don't want to hear anything about Povetkin, the bottom line is he's failed 2 drug tests back to back in separate fights which points to him using PEDS.. regardless if what some of you want to say, he took illegal substances which were in his system at the time of testing...And that's that.

Povetkin never failed a test for the wilder fight he was 17 times under the limit, the cowardly boy Wilder ran home crying

 

He failed his test against Wilder, he had traces of meldonium in his system which is a banned substance... he failed another drug test against Stiverne because he had traces of a banned substance in his system.. His A sample came up dirty most likely his B sample will come up dirty as well. Let's face it, Povetkin is the modern day Drago and nobody should be obligated to fight him, when he's trying to gain extra advantages by taking PED'S to get an edge over his opposition. He's a POS and that's that!

I am in the minority in the Povetkin case by a wide margin since I think that what happened is circumstantial and that he isn't in the wrong here, but it makes sense for someone to be against Povetkin because of how strange this situation is. In the case of Meldonium, it was found in his system. We know that. Everyone knows that. What some people don't know is that it is a quantitative substance under WADA protocol and , as you mentioned, he was under the limit of what is allowed. I do not fault anyone for getting that part wrong nor do I fault them for knowing that meldonium doesn't even really give you any benefits according to sports scientists (or whatever they are...) and that experts think that it should be taken off of the banned list. Now on to Osatarine(sp?), this is a more serious offense and has been banned since 2008, does give you benefits, and you are not allowed to have any traces of this in your system. It does not have the nuances that the case of meldonium has. Thing with this however, is that it wasn't always in his system and that it is a very small amount that was found in the first place. Now I'm not an expert, but I do know that if you are taking a PED, you have to stay on it for quite some time to get benefits from it and you have to take a decent amount of it. That wasn't found in Povetkin's system. Because of that, I think it is more likely that his story about contaminated food/samples is the truth. There is no proof of this though as it stands so drenlou assuming that Povetkin is guilty and calling him guilty, especially given his history, makes perfect sense and isn't something that I think you can criticize him for doing. On paper, it sounds terrible. Povetkin has been found with banned substances in his system on two consecutive fights. That part, cannot be denied.

 

You forgot to mention that hr tested negative all along and the one That testes positive was mysteriously flown to the other side of the world to Los Angeles to be tested. America are trying to protect old chicken legs any way they can,.
