"I wasn't 100 per cent (in Denmark) and I still nearly beat him. Now, I'm on the crest of a wave.

"I obliterated (Lucian) Bute, tore his title off him (Froch won with a fifth-round stoppage).

"Against Kessler I was just landing one punch at a time but, against Bute, I was landing combinations of 12, 14 punches.

"I was ill-prepared last time, my flight was delayed because of the ash cloud. I'll be ready this time, more than ready, and he won't be able to cope."

    What a sore loser.

I lost because a volcano went off.

Has to be the worst excuse in boxing history. Beats toe gate by a large margin.

Kessler won because he was the better fighter period.

He can say whatever he wants, as long he keep on taking competitive fights, he is all right in my book.

Volcanic ash cloud is a pretty good excuse IMO.

All that matters is that he avenges the defeat come May. War!

He'll be on his ass via a left hook if he tries that against Kessler.

    "14 punch combinations"

If this was Khan he would be getting so much **** right now. I personally don't care though, as long as he keeps putting on exciting fights he can declare himself as the new pope and **** kittens on live TV as far as I'm concerned :conf

Kessler might be hitting with more power now though. I thought the first fight was very close. I favored Kessler 7-5. With those types of close fights though, I couldn't have complained had Froch got the nod.

Froch is a bit delusional (like most boxers who need to stay at the top of their game) but he consistently takes on the best and almost always delivers the goods, so I'll give him a pass on this one.

He didn't beat Kessler though, close as it was, and the reason for that was Kessler, not Froch. Against Abraham Froch fought much the same way he fought against Bute, landing punches at will. Only difference was that Bute couldn't take the sustained punishment.
