I find Roach's prediction of a 1st Rd knockout for Pacquiao to be ridiculous.

Excuse me? Who is Pacquiao fighting, a taxi driver or a strong welterweight champion? To say that Cotto doesnt have a chance is just plain dumb. Pac is a man not not a God, any given fighter can win or loose on any given night and specially when fighting a bigger man with very good skills overall.

I wrote this in another thread that my main and only concern for MIguel going into this fight would be his conditioning. He hasnt shown great stamina in previous fights and this proved to be, along with the help of concrete, the culprit in the Margarito fight. I dont recall seeing Manny Pacquiao gassed in any fight I could remember, while I could remember Cotto tiring down the stretch in his wars against Clottey, Mosley, Margarito, etc. This is a legitimate concern.... However, in each of these fights that he tired down the stretch, he was engaged in full, all out war, and that could have obviously affected his stamina.

Other than stamina -- Nothing else that Manny brings worries me, I feel Miguel is the superior boxer, has a higher ring I.Q, and is the more natural talented in the ring between the two. Pacquiao is just more of a physical specimen which is part reason why he's been able to have such good stamina as well as go up in weight so much.

Clottey just stalked Cotto without putting to much pressure on him

I stopped reading here. Clottey stalking any welterweight is extreme pressure, the man is a tank.

Exactly Clottey walks around at 180, he is a Big welter....

The man in your avatar use to give me nightmares, actually I think about a dozen controlers ended up broken cus of him.

The point I was making is that Clottey was spending a lot of the fight not throwing punches and just stalking with his a tight defense that just a valid point, why stop reading just because I pointed out a fact?:huh

What suprised me most about the fight was that Pacquiao was stronger than Cotto and Cotto's punches had no effect on Pac.
