    I’m re posting this

“Carnera is from that school of thought where the next heavyweight champ was "discovered" in some remote backwoods whose gifts were so prodigious compared to the rest of humanity they only needed a few sessions with a trainer to be polished up and presented to the public, a title shot looming from day one.

Putting these guys in with modern elite pros would be a travesty... unless you still subscribe to the above school of thought.”

Very underrated. He record measures up with Wlad, but the big difference is Carnera's competition was better than Wlad's.

    Wins against Top 10 Competition:

Wladimir Klitschko (64-5) - 9 wins over top 10 competition and was the Unified Champ, but never Undisputed.

    # 10 WBO Champion Chris Byrd (31-1) - He's Wlad's best win in my opinion. Byrd had win over Ross Puritty and Vitali Klitschko going into the fight.

    # 8 Jameel McCline (28-2-3) - Had wins over Michael Grant and Shannon Briggs going into the fight.

    # 3 Ruslan Chagaev (25-0-1) - Had win on Nikolay Valuev and a shot John Ruiz going into the fight.

#10 Tony Thompson (36-2) - Had a win over Chazz Witherspoon going into the fight.

    # 3 Eddie Chambers (35-1) - Had a win over a shot Samuel Peter and a win over Alexander Dimitrenko going into the fight.

    # 2 David Haye (25-1) - Had wins over Nikolay Valuev and Audley Harrison going into the fight.

    # 2 Alexander Povetkin (26-0) - Had wins over Eddie Chambers, Ruslan Chgaev, and Huck going into the fight.

    # 1 Kubrat Pulev (20-0) - Had wins over Ustinov and Tony Thomspon. going into the fight.

    # 5 Bryant Jennings (19-0) - Had wins over Artur Szpilka and Mike Perez.

Primo Carnera (88-14) - 6 wins over top 10 competition, was an Undisputed Champ.

    - Champion Jack Sharkey (39-6-2) - He's Primo's best win in my opinion. Had wins over Young Stribling, Tommy Loughran, Max Schmeling, and Primo himself going into the fight.

#1 Young Stribling (226-13-17) - Had a win over Babe Hunt going into the fight.

    # 3 George Godfrey (68-15-1) - Had wins over Bill Tate, Jack Renault, and Paulino Uzcudun going into the fight.

#4 King Levinsky (42-20-4) - Had a win over Tommy Loughran going into the fight.

    # 5 Earnie Schaaf (58-14-2) - Had wins over Tony Galento, Paulino Uzcudun, and Unkown Winston going into the fight.

    # 2 Tommy Loughran (112-23-8) - Had a wins over Ray Impelletiere and Jack Sharkey going into the fight.

    A look at their losses
