Yeah great point. WLad is the one doing the chicken **** holding. But his man loving fans will always defend him. He beat Povetkin by grabbing and pushing his weight on him. Bull****!! Povetkin would have been able to land is Wlad were not allowed to hold. WLad could not keep Povetkin on the outside. All Wlad did was grab and hold which is cheating. He should have been DQED.
wahhhhhhhh Lets not blame Povetkin at all for allowing himself to be man handled like a little girl. wasnt this the same guy in the gym a few weeks ago bench pressing 315 pounds and showing the world how strong he was? yet he couldnt manage to not be held or grabbed 1 time. Lets face facts here.............. Yes to a point it was the referees fault the fight went the way it did. There was talk before the fight the Wlad might get robbed that there might be a conspiracy. BUT The conspiracy was the other way around Wlad was a DISGRACE the way he performed. I cannot bring myself to say fight because he didn't fight he just grabbed & mauled Povetkin. Leaned on him pushing him down continuously. The ref did not do a damn thing to stop him either. Add to this the fact that Wlad blatantly THREW Povetkin down several times. That referee was abominable & should never be allowed inside a ring again. As for Wlad the octopus my only regret is Lennox Lewis did not get the chance to get Wlad in the ring. Because if he had we wouldn't be seeing Wlad & Vitali the bionic robots holding the titles they'd be back in the Ukraine posing for more nude pics together .
The ref did a terrible job and let Wlad get away with too much, but it's more than fair to blame Kitschko as well. People didn't only hate on Mora after the Agbeko debacle but also directed their vitriol toward Mares as well for the manner in which he fought.
