The Referee Did Far More Than Just Delay The Count

You're right San, the ref was sucking Butes **** before and after the fight

 

First of all Bute looked pretty skilled in there but I think he would have gassed out a lot sooner if for not all the clinching and we wouldn't have all the controversy because Andrade would have gotten to him earlier in the fight.

It's a disgrace for Andrade to walk through hell and then win the fight only to have it robbed.

The ref favored Bute so much I don't know how anyone could miss the bias.

I can't comment about the fight in general as I didn't watch it. What I did see was the last 30 seconds of the fight... 5 times now. Fact is, Bute WAS up at 7... 8 max. Period, end of story.

Should the fight have been stopped?... dunno. I didn't see the entire last few rounds. Was Bute OUT on his feet, yep... pretty much. BUT, he DID GET UP before I counted to 10... and I started my count the VERY NANOSECOND he hit the canvas.

 

Smokescreen alright, conveniently seeking an abstract minor destraction whilst ignoring the elephant in the room. Yelling at him like a dick, carrying on like a moron, its pretty clear what was going on. He did his best to drag it out, to be honest, a lot of refs would have stopped the fight before the knockdown, even under those circumstances.

 

You count pretty fast, dude. I think its between 8 or 9 he gets up and therefore he beats the count. But if a dude cant stand on his feet without help from the ropes he clearly shouldnt be allowed to continue. He was OUT ON HIS FEET. Couldnt walk two yards without support.

And this is only a small part of the controversy. Andrade got ROBBED at least 10 seconds because he was standing 4 ****ing feet away from the neutral corner post. He was there but the ref did think that it wasnt close enough...? :-( :-(

If Andrade had 10 seconds with the gone Bute he would not have beaten the clock and he wouldnt have been saved by the bell.

And also the ref keeps looking towards Butes corner when he is counting. Thats ****ed up as well and weird circumstances in it self.

That ref should be banned.

So it doesnt matter if Bute "beat the count". he was in disneyland when he stood there!


Bute and Andrade both deserve tons of credit, but the ref totally blew this by choosing side. This must be adressed by the IBF and at least ODLH himself.

 

agreed that ref was ****ing terrible, Bute initiated clinches like a mother ****er and rarely got told anything. And like was mentioned, the moment that Bute was really hurt in the 12th, the ref kept stepping in and disrupting Andrade's attempts to put Bute down.

Although, its not Bute's fault, I hate seeing dirty ugly things in boxing. This ref is ****, and negatively effected the fight. No headbutt started Bute's descent to the canvas. Dude was gassed and got punched a few times cleanly. I'd have to watch it again to make sure but thats the way I saw it last night.

 

Insulted you for the free insult to Bute who has no fault in this,sorry.Watch the tape and see a headbutt in the final flurry,not saying it was like Torres and Holt but it did count and yes Bute was tired.Anyway Andrade should have won
