    I think Cotto will be happy with the 10 ounce gloves. Mayweather was the one who wanted 8 ounce gloves to try and cut Cotto up like Margarito and Pacquiao did before him. Cotto is probably less vulnerable to getting cut with the 10 ounce gloves than he would have been with the 8 ounce gloves.

    Cotto has been cut bad against Joshua Clottey and Zab Judah but this is about the punch impact and Cotto is surely the bigger puncher of the two. Maybe not the more accurate or the sharper but he can really hurt anyone if he commits to punch at the right time and distance.
