The Rematch: Cotto vs Margarito II

Margo the exact same way barnburner Cotto early lead as Margo is a slow starter then Margo wins down the stretch

Cotto didnt prove anything since the 1st fight that makes me think he can win

Margo can take Cotto's best shot Margo will just pressure the hell out of him

 

Margarito. His ability to walk through Cotto's punches had WAY more to do with his victory than anything he may have had in his wraps.

 

good point but i think cotto got a bigger beating from margo then moseley put on margo

 

if cotto continues to make his jab one of his main tools and uses it to set up other punches and fights at a slower pace then the first fight the he out points margaro.

 

I still don't like Miguel's chances. Mexican plodders that love to get hit to give back and engage in slugfests are all wrong for Cotto. Same thing with Angulo. Same thing with kirkland who is a black plodder that loves to give back and exchange in slugfests and who it southpaw to boot.

 

Protecting the 0 may have got to Miguels head but at this stage i am still not sold he can beat a volume puncher who can take his best punch

 

The fight that NEEDS to happen.

Margarito will obviously fight the same exact fight as he always does while I think Cotto with Steward will make the necessary adjustments to effectively fight for 12 rounds.
