    The scene has an article stating Floyd is going to apply for a MMA License.

    The power of $$$.

    i wonder what the strategy for this one will be. 1-2 tuneups? does he have the time and takes the risks?

    It seems weird. However I think he will fight mma. He shouldn't, but he will. He could also potentially do very well depending on his coach

    Seriously, Mayweather was as boring a boxer as old Mash reruns, he'll be even worse in MMA. The first guy to take him to ground destroys him.

    its stupid and as a floyd fan i worry that he will lose and lose quite badly

    HOWEVER, you have to respect the move to fight in the MMA , remember how much we clowned the connor fight because it was strictly a boxing match and how many times did you all say or read "of course its going to be a 1sided beat down, if floyd had some balls hed face him in MMA"

    is this clownier then when ali fought antonio inoki ?

    boxing is at a real low point when this is really a fight to be made. Floyd has handpicked easy fights for years.

    Even if in his mind he's serious at this stage once Floyd starts training (which he hasn't done yet) and realising it takes years to hone basic skills aside from using them effectively in competition, he’ll trash the idea pretty quick.

    But he’ll definitely keep training to keep the hype game going. Plenty of pix of him training MT, BJJ etc but no vid...cos it’ll expose his novice technique. The hype train will keep rolling and building to something....who knows what another boxing match with Conner? Especially as some people retrospectively were saying Conner was “competitive”....

    Floyd gets wiped out against a same weight top tier Muay Thai fighter nevermind the added danger of an MMA guy with quality ground game.

    IMO its too late for FLoyd to do this.. But money conquers all.. And this of course will make a ridiculous amount of money for everyone involved..
