I don’t believe Floyd is going to be fighting in the UFC. It’s a bait and switch tactic from the elusive one. He will most likely be getting a license to promote MMA in Vegas. Then he can draw attention to signing Tyrone Woodley or some other MMA fighters under his TMT/MMA banner. If he does end up fighting in the UFC I will give Floyd a ton of credit for taking a massive risk. But I just don’t see a guy like Floyd who is known for not taking risks or being extremely calculated in the risks that he does take, change his spots at 40 years old. I just don’t see it. Would love to see it but I am not holding my breath

 

I agree, it ain't gonna happen. Its a hype train to something, only Floyd knows what....you could be right that it's about future promoting in the MMA world.

 

Lol how is we know this and millions don’t,I’m calling it now Floyd will fight Conor in the Octagon,won’t get taken down and will win making him a Demi God to his gullible fans.

Anyone who doubts this need only look at that farce of a boxing match where Floyd could have stopped Conor in the first round had he wanted to.
Conor will take his hundred million and take his loss and folk will buy it lol

 

I won't be tuning into this if it ever does come true (it very likely will not).

Barely tuned into the last farce but only did so because, it was still boxing, although barely.

Bad enough that these two are crossing formats of fighting at all, but second to that....I can't stand MMA/UFC, their whole scene aims to gain from a demise in boxing, so I'll never take an interest in that load of grappling nonsense

 

Course he will but it’ll be so fixed there’ll be no take downs and to be sure Floyd can look after himself standing up throwing punches don’t you think?

 

Floyd will never lose,he’s built a career around having that zero so he ain’t gonna start now,just fix the fight,simple as that.

 

I don’t think it will happen. I’m sure Dana and other UFC fighters will absolutely roast Floyd through the media if Mayweather asks for augmented rules.....the embarrassment would be too much for Floyd to take. If I’m wrong about the embarrassment being too much for Floyd if he did ask for a handicap, the circus will ride into town and Dana and every MMA fighter will be lining up to get a check. People will surely buy it due to the spectacle but Floyd won’t get anything positive from it outside of ridiculous money.

 

Oh for sure but there wouldn’t be any augmented rules it would just be fixed.
For the most part MMA is usually pretty fair and easy to score but there has been some fixed fights,it’d look ridiculous if Floyd got taken down but in Conor McGregor he’s got an opponent who’s known for his stand up game anyway so they could easily fix that with the money on show.

 

Anything is possible. If it is fixed I think the world will know making it harder for Floyd and the UFC to put on another fixed fight featuring Floyd as the headliner.
