Just have the boxing commission step in and make it obligatory to do urine and blood tests randomly for all fighters before and after the fight from now on. This would minimize the possibilities of a fighter having an unfair advantage due to steroids. Also, while they are at it, just make it obligatory to check the hand wraps and gloves prior to the fight.

    Yes, absolutely right.
If there is a drug problem in boxing, they need to fix the problem, not leave it up to the boxers to resolve in contract disputes.

Well that is the ideal to come out of this fight, that a standard in the industry for all World Championship fights would be the random blood and urine tests done by some either national or state agency.

The interesting thing about steroids and HGH in boxing is that it makes you bigger and gain weight, therefore face larger competition in a bigger weight class. I don't think it gives you the same edge it does in other sports such as baseball or football where you're facing the same competition regardless.
